Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is the only medical facility exclusively for tubal ligation reversal. I am the Medical Director and widely known as the tubal reversal doctor with the most experience reversing tied tubes.

I graduated college with honors from Harvard University and from the University of Rochester Medical School. Following medical internship at Duke University Medical Center, I began residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. I served in the US Public Health Service at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer in the Family Planning Evaluation Program.

I completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology and simultaneously obtained a Master's degree in Maternal and Child Health at the University of North Carolina School of Public Health at Chapel Hill. During my appointment as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the UNC School of Medicine, I trained abroad in tubal microsurgery techniques and initiated the tubal microsurgery program at the UNC Medical Center. I then entered private practice specializing in tubal reconstructive surgery.

I developed the outpatient technique for tubal ligation reversal and have performed more than 7000 of these procedures and with 30 years of clinical practice have acquired the greatest experience with this operation of any reproductive surgeon worldwide.
